ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sanjna is an award-winning artist and Harvard junior. Her music represents a polymath’s musical journey with boundless creativity that bends, blends and defies constraints across genres, cultures, technology, and academic disciplines.

Sanjna’s songwriting shines a light on the melancholic beauty of the human experience, echoing the passion of life’s growing pains, transforming moments, lessons, and feelings into an intricate landscape, immersing listeners in a soulful symphony. She is a poetic lyricist who cleverly employs metaphor, storytelling, and scene setting to create emotionally evocative songs. Her artistic aesthetic is informed both by her technical training in jazz, pop, art song, opera, and classical Indian music, and her passion for classic rock, pop, indie, and pop-soul. Sanjna’s heartfelt and evocative vocals have garnered favorable comparisons to Adele, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, and Dua Lipa.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door ($10 for kids 13 and under). Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Advanced tickets are recommended! Visit theroyalglenside.com/faq for more information.

DRINK: Our neighbors at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery have a bar set-up in the back of the venue and will be selling their delicious beer. BYO-Wine is allowed with a $5 corkage fee per person. No Hard Liquor or outside beer permitted.

FOOD: We sell small snacks at each event, but we are not a restaurant and do not have table service. We strongly recommend having dinner at The Ways Restaurant and Brewery beforehand and we do allow outside food in the venue if you wish to bring it in.

PARKING: Guests of The Royal are permitted to park in the parking lot of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Enter the lot on Mt. Carmel Avenue, on the other side of Easton Road. Parking is available at the Glenside Train Station, but at your own risk as we are not associated or contracted with SEPTA. Street parking is also available.
